@ Alan: Problem with Pole Vector

Alan, I am currently rigging my detective character and have encountered a problem with the pole vector. When I attempt to constrain the leg IK and the pole vector ctrl, as in the tutorial, nothing happens and I get this message:

Error: Handel must be valid and use rotate plane solver.
